This was an important event, where Rosie and Iain helped raised the profile of Meriden Parish. How it started
In 2007, the Village Appraisal was successfully launched on Monday 24 September with many residents volunteering their services. To read the original presentation which explains why we needed to conduct an appraisal, click here.
Volunteers from 24 September formed the Village Appraisal Steering Group and they have been meeting monthly since then. The volunteers compiled, distributed and collected the Household Questionnaire throughout the spring and early summer and then sorted them confidentially in the Village Hall for computer input. In partnership with ESOS, a local business based at Meriden Hall, the confidential analysis took place throughout the summer and autumn. The Results were distributed in December of which the electronic copy can be read on the home page.
