A45 Birmingham Road, Meriden Notice of Temporary Road Closure
The Council gives notice under Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991), being satisfied that all traffic should be restricted or prohibited to ensure that carriageway resurfacing can be undertaken in safety.

The works will require the following closures:
A45 Birmingham Road, Meriden – from Showell Lane to the Fillongley Bridge.
East Bound – Monday 13th April to Friday 17th April 2020 – 9pm to 6am, only. Alternative routes for traffic will be signed via A452 Kenilworth Road, B4102 Hampton Lane, B4104 Main Road, B4104 Birmingham Road, and Showell Lane.
West Bound – Monday 20th April to Wednesday 22nd April 2020 – 9pm to 6am, only. Alternative routes for traffic will be signed via B4104 Birmingham Road and B4104 Main Road.
Informatory warning signs will be deployed, not less than seven days before any particular road will be closed, at the following location. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian and vehicle access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
