Meriden Parish Council received a memorial cherry tree, planted on The Green, from SMBC. This was in thanks to all those who have volunteered during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and in memorial to all those who have lost their lives.
The decision to plant in on the green was taken by the Parish Council at short notice but we have consulted with all relevant stakeholders. The tree sits at the heart of the village so it can be enjoyed easily by all
