We would like to invite you to join a free webinar focussing on HS2s Automated People Mover
The future HS2 Interchange Station in Solihull will be a major gateway station for the region. It will be part of a new public transport interchange serving Solihull and the West Midlands, with links to the UK motorway network. A new automated people mover system will serve the station providing connectivity between Interchange Station and Birmingham Airport, Birmingham International Railway Station and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
The next instalment of our Building HS2’s West Midlands Stations series explains what a people mover is, looks at the route and design of HS2’s people mover, the challenges faced in the design to date, and the next steps in making the people mover a reality. The webinar will be lead by the Design Lead for Interchange Station and the APM, and colleagues from Arup who have designed the people mover to date.
You will be able to ask the team from HS2 and Arup questions via a live Q&A chat.
