Notice of planned works.

We’re writing to let you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area. , in order to reduce the amount of emails you receive we have amalgamated a number of notifications into this one email.

A452 Kenilworth Road -roundabout construction
Please find below dates for traffic management to support the completion of works for the new roundabout on the A452 Kenilworth Road, Berkswell, close to Park Lane.
On 24, 25 & 26 October 2022: Single Lane closures along sections of the southbound and northbound A452 carriageways and around the new roundabout between 9:30am to 3:30pm each day. Traffic management, including all signage, will be erected where it is required during this period and removed at the end of each shift. Please keep an eye out for changes to lane closures and signage on the road, as dates are also subject to change. All work is subject to consent, site and weather conditions.
Local diversions will be clearly signposted. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained. For live up-to-date traffic information and diversion routes please go to one.network. Any changes will be published on the hs2insolihull website.

The new railway will cross over Lavender Hall Lane on a bridge. In order to prepare the area for this new structure we need to remove the existing vegetation. Our ecological surveys have shown that this area is suitable habitat for dormice. As such, it is important that this work is carried out now, before hibernation season. To do this work safely and before hibernation season we will need to close the road for a period of two weeks. Please note, for safety reasons, Baulk Lane will also be closed. Access for residents and business will be maintained on both roads. The road will be closed between 9:30am until 3:30pm Monday -Friday from Monday 24 October until Friday 4 November.
