Notice of road closure, Cromwell Lane
Ahead of temporarily realigning Cromwell Lane we have to divert multiple utilities. We need to do this as their current location clashes with the realigned road.
To carry out this work we will need to excavate a section of Cromwell Lane and relocate the utilities before then resurfacing the excavated section. To be able to do this work safely we must close Cromwell Lane between Red Lane and Hodgetts Lane.
Cromwell Lane will be closed between, Red Lane and Hodgetts Lane from Monday 20 February to Friday 24 February 2023.
The closure will be in place 24 hours a day. A fully signposted diversion will be in place throughout the closures and access to all properties will be maintained. Cromwell Lane will be remain open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Notification of traffic management on Gilson Drive, Coleshill
To continue works to construct a viaduct that will carry the HS2 line over the realigned Gilson Road, we will need to complete works to create a retaining wall close to the existing Gilson Drive. The retaining wall will provide extra support for the ground to ensure it is maintained in place.
To complete these works safely, we will install two-way traffic lights along a short section of Gilson Drive from Wednesday 8 February until Friday 17 March. The traffic lights will be in place from 7.00am until 6.00pm from Monday to Friday. The location of the traffic lights will be to the north of our haul road, which is used for us to safely access and egress Gilson Drive.
