Responding to the coronavirus pandemic
HS2 are continually reviewing the works on its construction sites in line with Government and Public Health England (PHE) advice on dealing with coronavirus. The Government’s current coronavirus strategy makes clear that construction activity can continue as long as it complies with this guidance. The health and safety of our workforce and the communities we work near is our key priority. Our sites in the Interchange area are still operational, because they can work safely within PHE and construction industry guidelines, and will be monitored and remain under constant review. Our works programme may change as further guidance is received from the Government and PHE. Therefore at every opportunity, we are advising stakeholders and residents to subscribe for news updates about HS2 in Solihull at: www.hs2insolihull.co.uk. The HS2 Helpdesk also remains operational all day, every day.
