As part of the HS2 enabling works, we sometimes carry out work that may impact public rights of way (including footpaths and bridleways) and cycleways. Before we make any changes to public rights of way, we work with the relevant local authority to obtain consent or permission for any closures or diversions.
To safely facilitate the movement of plant machinery, we will be marshalling a section of public right of way on Meriden Road. The marshalling will be in placed from Monday 19 October until Friday 30 October from 9am to 5pm. This just means that someone will ensure that the footpath is clear when we are preparing to move plant across the PROW. The footpath will remain open at all times throughout these works.
The map below outlines the location of the areas of the public right of way which will be impacted.
This schedule is subject to change depending on site and weather conditions. We’ll keep you informed of any adjustments at: www.hs2insolihull.co.uk
