Notice of Road Closure, Hodgetts Lane, Burton Green
To facilitate ground investigation (GI) for final design of permanent works, we will be digging trial holes and undertaking survey works on Hodgetts Lane, Burton Green. GI is the examination and study of the soil, rocks and groundwater below the surface. These GI show information and data about the existing ground conditions, which will enable the new railway to be safely and economically constructed. Trial hole, which is digging of a trial pit or trench, is one of the methods that are used to obtain ground conditions. To carry out these works safely we will be closing a section of Hodgetts Lane. Hodgetts Lane will be closed from 5 December 2022 to 9 December 2022 between 9am and 3pm and 10 December 2022 8am to 1pm if required, to minimise disruption to peak traffic. A full diversion will be in place. Access to all properties will be maintained. Our workforce maybe on site one hour before and one hour after to set up and secure our equipment.

Notice of temporary traffic lights, Coventry Road (A429), Kenilworth
We will be diverting additional utilities on the A429 Coventry Road between Kenilworth and Coventry. This is required in preparation for the future bridge structure and site access on the A429 at this location. These works will take place from 19 September to 21 December 2022 between 8am and 6pm. Temporary traffic lights will be in operation 24 hours per day on these dates.
To carry out this work safely, our contractor will require temporary traffic lights and will use vacuum excavation.

To maintain the safety of road users, equestrian and pedestrians, we will install overnight lane closure with temporary traffic lights while we complete these works. We will complete these works from Friday 25 November 2022 to Friday 20 January 2023. Our working hours will be 8pm to 6am. Temporary traffic lights will be installed each night over this period and removed each morning. We will not work between Friday 23 December to Monday 2 January 2025.
