We’re writing to let you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area.
To build the new railway, the northbound A452 Chester Road between the A446 and the Northway Island is being significantly remodelled in a number of phases.
The first phase, subject to consents, is to close the A452 between the A446 and the Northway Island. This is to connect the new bridge over the A446 to the new interchange that has been constructed over the HS2 line.
A fully signed diversion will be in place, northbound traffic will be diverted up the A446 to the M6 Junction 4 roundabout, and return southbound on the A446 to the Brownhills slip road, then onto the Northway Island.
On the approach to the road closure there will be short length of lane one closed.
These road closures will be in place 24 hours a day seven days a week from Monday 22 August to Friday 16 September.
