Fillongley Road Meriden 30mph Speed Limit February 2020 IMP NOTICE PLAN
The Council has made this Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Metropolitan Borough of Solihull) Order 2007, where applicable, and all other enabling powers. The reasons for this Order can be obtained by written request from the address below; or by inspecting the documents at Solihull Connect, The Core, Theatre Square, Touchwood, Solihull during normal opening hours or via www.solihull.gov.uk/Resident/Parking-travel-roads/roadworks-and-restrictions/tros A copy of the Order is available upon request. Anyone wishing to question the validity or provisions of the Order should apply to the High Court within six weeks from the date that the Order became effective. The Order, which comes into force on 14 May 2020, will introduce the following:
Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time
Fillongley Road (B4102) northern side – (i) from a point 148m north-east of Maxstoke Lane in a north easterly direction for approximately 15m; (ii) from a point 186m north-east of Maxstoke Lane in a south westerly direction for approximately 15m; and (iii) from a point 58m north-east of Highfield in a north easterly direction for 22m.
Fillongley Road (B4102) southern side – (i) from Highfield south-westwards for 13m; (ii) from Highfield north-eastwards for 24m; (iii) from Alspath Road westwards for 15m; (iv) from Alspath Road eastwards for 15m; (v) from Leys Lane westwards for 8m; and (vi) from Leys Lane eastwards for 11m.
Fillongley Road (Fronting 66-94) both sides – (i) (southern side) from Leys Lane westwards for 15m; and (ii) (northern side) from Leys Lane westwards for 8m.
Fillongley Road (Fronting 1-29) – (i) (western side) from Fillongley Road (B4102) in a generally north western direction following the kerb line for approximately 25m; and (ii) (eastern side) from Fillongley Road (B4102) in a generally north-eastern direction following the kerb line for approximately 25m.
Alspath Road (both sides) – from Fillongley road (B4102) southwards for 15m.
Highfield – (i) (eastern side) from Fillongley Road (B4102) south-eastwards for 10m; and (ii) (western side) from Fillongley Road (B4102) south-eastwards for 28m.
Leys Lane – (i) (eastern side) from Fillongley Road (B4102) southwards for 15m; and (ii) (western side) from Fillongley Road (B4102) southwards for 25m.
Restriction of Waiting – Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 09:30hrs and 15:00 to 16:00hrs
B4102 Fillongley Road northern side – (i) from a point 186m north-east of Maxstoke Lane in a northeasterly direction for approximately 62m; and (ii) from a point 22m west of Alspath Road in a westerly direction for approximately 68m.
Revocation of existing Prohibition of Waiting – Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 09:30hrs and 15:00 to 16:00hrs
As a consequence of the above proposals, the following provisions of The Metropolitan Borough of Solihull (Fillongley Road, Meriden) (Restriction of Waiting) Order 2017 shall be revoked: B4102 Fillongley Road northern side – from a point 58m north-east of Highfield in a north easterly direction for 22m.
