A short section of the B4438 will be closed from 8pm on Friday 29 January until 5am on Monday 1 February.

The closure will be in place so that LM (a joint venture between Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy & Sons, carrying out early HS2 works) can safely and smoothly connect parts of the existing road network to the new routes they are creating. These road improvements will ensure that when the future HS2 Interchange Station is operational, the local road network is fit for purpose.

Signed diversion routes will be in place for drivers.

A further closure will also take place along a short section of the A452 from 8pm on Friday 12 February until 5am on Monday 15 February.
