The Mayor of Solihull will attend the unveiling ceremony at noon on Monday 24 March 2014.
The milestone shaped plaque sits under the oak tree on the roundabout by the Village Green. It was originally unveiled on Monday 24 March 1962 by Alderman Bernard Hornby Hunt from Warwickshire County Council.
This was to mark the completion of the by-pass in 1958 whereby Meriden became a Village once again.
Alderman Hunt’s family will also be in attendance who kindly offered to pay for its restoration.
